Virtual Reality

For me VR represented an opportunity to travel back in time and see a long vanished world, which is so often distorted by the lens of Hollywood, fiction and media.

This ancient Roman house, located in Pompeii presented a path where there was enough research and evidence that I could reasonably reconstruct it accurately to it's contemporary condition.

Without a background in coding or Roman history, I built Roma: Domus VR, an experience where users can wander through the home, room by room, and learn about the lives of those who once lived there.

The user is able to walk and tour this upper class home in Pompeii, explore every room and learn the history behind it.

This VR experience sold in over 50 countries worldwide.
